PRIVATE GAME RESERVE |

The
reserve, comprising 15,800 hectares of privately owned malaria-free
wilderness is operated by Conservation Corporation Africa.
More than 7000 animals were released in the Reserve prior
to its opening in 2001.In 2002, Kwandwe Private Game Reserve
was awarded membership to the prestigious Relais & Chateaux
organisation.
The main lodge is set along the lush banks of the Great
Fish River and comprises nine air-conditioned luxury suites.

Each
en-suite bathroom includes a bath as well as indoor and
outdoor showers with views over the wild yet gentle landscape.
Each suite also features a spacious thatched deck and private
plunge pool with river deck terrace. Stylish regional cuisine
is served on guests private decks, in the candlelit dining
room, on the main deck, or in the boma under a starlit sky.
In the evenings a local historian entrances guests with
his tales of the region’s rich history.

style villa with large swimming pool, private ranger and

The
funky new Ecca Lodge is a flamboyant new addition to Kwandwe
and comprises just six air-conditioned light airy and open
suites. The en suite bathrooms and plate-glass-enclosed
showers overlook the beautiful aloe-studded wilderness.
Ecca Lodge has an inviting swimming pool and is very child
friendly.

followed by a 30 minute road transfer to the Lodge. |
