Victoria Falls is one of the seven wonders of the natural
world and is arguably the greatest waterfall anywhere. The
Falls have fascinated travellers since David Livingstone
was the first European explorer to see them in 1855. There
are many fine hotels and lodges to choose from on either
the Zambian or the Zimbabwean bank of the Zambezi River.
The River Club on the Zambian side, set among lush riverine
vegetation, offers 10 luxury thatched open- fronted rooms
with the best possible views of the Zambezi. The Royal Livingstone
is a 5 star sanctuary on the Zambian side of the Falls,
a gracious haven with a magnificent sundeck overlooking
the Falls. Some of the activities we can arrange include
micro light and helicopter flights over the Falls, sunset
cruises on the Zambezi, white water rafting, horse riding
and for the more adventurous, bungee jumping! |
